Creative Fatal1ty Professional Series Gaming Headset Mk II

Here's one interesting fact about the new Creative Fatal1ty Professional Series Gaming Headset Mk II. Repeat the name twice and you will almost reach the 140 word limit in Twitter. Having said that, damn, this is one fine looking gaming headset! We first saw this during CES where Creative introduced the Silencer Technology to the world. Many months and some minor design improvements later, the headset is re-branded into the Mk II with a price tag of US$99.99. I would see why a gamer would be inclined to buy this however, for the rest of us, the need for a Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium series sound card to utilize the Silencer Technology might just break the deal for us. As we haven't had the chance to test out the headset, we can't comment on how good or comfortable it is. But if you're a fan of Fatal1ty or gaming, i think this is a pretty decent buy at a $99.99 price point. Pre-order it today at us.creative.com.

Creative's first CES offering is the Tournament Gaming Headset

As CES inches towards us, Creative has quietly released its latest gaming headset, the HS-1100 Tournament Gaming Headset. This X-Fi enhanced headset features a new silencer techonology ("...Silencer intelligently eliminates ambient background noise to provide improved voice fidelity"), voice FX software (so you can continue to prey the web with a fake voice) which uses the USB interface. We like the looks of the HS-1100 especially the detachable mic but you know, we are just looking forward to the Zii.

Creative HS-1200 Wireless Gaming Headset

Ryan from Creative talks about Creative latest wireless gaming headset, the HS-1200. Apparently, alot of thoughts have gone into the making of the HS-1200. Besides incorporating the Xtreme Fidelity techonology, 2.4GHz technology for undistruted transmission, you can even use it when it runs out of juice simply by plugging in its charger. I tried on the HS-1200 and found it to be really light and comfortable. It is definitely one of Creative's best headset in terms of performance and comfort (with the Aurvana Live! closely behind). So there you have it, the convenience of wireless with the quality of a wired headset.

Creative unleashes wireless X-Fi Headsets

Creative roll out two wireless X-Fi gaming headsets today in the US- the HS-1200 and the Fatal1ty USB HS-1000. Personally I think that Johnathan Wendel and the whole Fatal1ty brand thing is getting abit old and over-rated as I don't see how using a Fatal1ty mouse or headset will make you a better gamer. But I find the HS-1200 a rather promising and exciting product.

We first heard of it way back in January during CES 2008, the HS-1200 uses a 2.4GHz radio frequency instead of the widely adopted bluetooth technology. The 2.4GHz is a much more powerful and advance technology that enables you to enjoy undistrupted audio and voice transmission simultaneously up to a range of 22m (72 feet). It can last up to 8 hours per charge and if you run out of juice, simply plug in the cable and continue with your game. It's built-in mic allows you to chat over skype and even has a dedicated button controls for it.

Now imagine yourself enjoying your favourite game or music enhanced with X-Fi or chatting with your loved ones over Skype while walking around the house hands free. Or stop imaging and get the latest HS-1200 for only USD$99 (or if you really love Wendel, the Fatal1ty USB HS-1000 goes for a cheaper price of USD$79.99).
